      The European Medical Center is located in the heart of the resort Ein Bokek, on the ground floor of the "Dead Sea Gardens" hotel and has been operating for 17 years.
 

       We specialize in the treatment of chronic diseases of the skin and musculoskeletal system. We have also gained invaluable experience in the treatment of uveitis and chronic diseases of the respiratory system. When using the method of climatotherapy for optimal time of treatment, we strive to achieve a significant stabilization of the process to gain a long-term remission of chronic diseases. Along with this completely disappear, on average, for 6-8 months, and sometimes for years, skin manifestations of psoriasis, neurodermatitis, ichthyosis, and many other skin diseases.

 

     Patients with chronic inflammatory diseases of the musculoskeletal system feel significant decrease in pain, swelling and stiffness of joints and dramatically reduce the need for strong and unsafe side-effected medications. We are happy to improve the quality of life for our patients, reduce the threat of disability, and preserve their ability to work with a subject to repeated courses of climatotherapy in the Dead Sea.

     Treatment in our clinic is strictly individualized and not limited to the number of visits to the doctor. Treatment of skin diseases is a complex of climate-dose procedures (air, sun and sea baths), the correct skin care with the use of creams, moisturizers based on vegetable and mineral fats, specially designed by our dermatologists and treatment of the scalp. Medically assisted treatment is reduced to the necessary minimum.   

     Treatment of diseases of musculoskeletal system includes the whole range of climatotherapy and, if indicated, massages, mud treatments and hydrosulfide baths. Treatment of chronic respiratory diseases by climatotherapy and ergotherapy (dosing walking, training on simulators) includes inhalation, medicament therapy, breathing exercises and massages. To control the disease and the effectiveness of treatment “peak-flow-meter” is used.
 
      In the case of concomitant acute illnesses, our patients receive skilled care of a physician.
 
      Epicrisis issued at the end of treatment in English, Russian or German.
 
      The clinic residents are: a dermatologist, rheumatologist and an orthopedic physician. Patients with uveitis are followed by a ophthalmologist - consultant from the hospital "Soroka''.
